The Wood
				At Alan Vogel Furniture, we use all old growth recycled fir and pine. This antique wood has beautiful close grain quality. The all natural wax we finish with compliments the warm tones that decades of weathering impart. Hence, no need for color stains which turn out 'flatter' than natural hues. Using traditional mortise and tenon joinery, we have developed a unique style to account for the slight irregularities and warps of the old lumber.
